C..A.R.E. Club (After-School Program)

Learning doesn't stop when the school day ends, it comes to life at Pomona C.A.R.E.! Our inclusive afterschool program is a place where students feel safe, welcomed, and excited to learn, explore, and grow every day. We provide a nurturing environment where every child can build friendships, discover new interests, and develop the confidence to reach their full potential.

Each afternoon is filled with engaging opportunities that support the whole child. Students receive homework help and academic enrichment while strengthening their reading, writing, and math skills through fun, hands-on learning. They dive into exciting STEM challenges, robotics/coding, LEGO engineering, science activities that spark creativity and critical thinking. Students also express themselves through art, crafts, games, and enrichment activities while building important social-emotional skills such as kindness, teamwork, responsibility, and resilience.

Daily physical activity, cooperative games, and team-building activities encourage students to stay active while developing confidence, leadership, and positive relationships.

At Pomona C.A.R.E., every afternoon is an adventure filled with learning, laughter, creativity, and discovery. We are proud to partner with families to provide a program where students are inspired to succeed academically, grow socially and emotionally, stay active, and create lasting memories with friends. We can't wait to learn, play, and grow together!

The Pomona C.A.R.E. Club is a free afterschool program for eligible students that provides a safe, engaging, and enriching environment until 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Enrollment is limited, and students must be registered and accepted into the program. Acceptance is based on program eligibility, need, and available space.

Because the C.A.R.E. Club is designed to provide consistent academic and enrichment support, daily attendance is required on all regular school days. Families may pick up their child during either designated dismissal window 4:30–4:40 p.m. or 5:30–6:00 p.m. without penalty. Frequent absences, early pick-ups outside of these designated windows, or failure to meet attendance expectations may result in dismissal from the program so that another student on the waiting list may have the opportunity to participate.

We’re excited to share that the interest form for the 2026–2027 CARE Club program is now open to all Pomona students in grades TK–1! If you are interested in enrolling, please complete a separate form for each student. Enrollment confirmations and waitlist notifications will be sent out to families by the end of July.

This form is to be used both for students interested in CARE Club for the first time as well as those interested in returning. Please complete this interest form and our team will be contacting you to confirm registration or waitlist into the program by the end of July.
