Welcome to Pomona Early Learning Center!
It is with great excitement that I welcome you to a new chapter in our school’s journey. Pomona is proud to now serve as a dedicated Early Learning Center, supporting our youngest learners from Preschool through First Grade. With this new focus, we are uniquely positioned to provide a strong, developmentally appropriate foundation for every child during their most formative years.
This year, we are thrilled to introduce several campus improvements designed specifically with our young learners in mind. Our newly renovated restrooms and upgraded play structures reflect our commitment to creating a safe, child-friendly environment where students can learn, grow, and play with confidence and joy.
At Pomona, inclusion and belonging are at the heart of everything we do. We embrace the diverse strengths, needs, and backgrounds of our students—including those receiving special education services—and work intentionally to create a learning environment where all children feel safe, seen, and celebrated.
As an AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) site, we believe in the potential of every student. We foster a culture of high expectations, student agency, and a growth mindset starting in the earliest grades. Our classrooms are filled with opportunities to build curiosity, confidence, and the foundational skills necessary for lifelong success.
We are committed to building strong partnerships with families and value your voice in your child’s educational journey. Together, we can nurture a love of learning, resilience, and a sense of community that will stay with our students for years to come.
